Academy Graduates making the step up:

We can proudly say that we are one of the most successful Spanish Football Academies (or Spanish Soccer Academy if you hail from the US) with proven success sourcing semi-professional and professional opportunities for our players. This was once again proven on Sunday when André Bouroncle Cuentas received his full 1st team debut. After joining the Academy in August 2018, he spent a year in the U23s demonstrating his work ethic, determination, and ability. This culminated in an unforgettable moment walking onto the pitch as a 1st team player in front of his family who had travelled over from Peru. A moment he will cherish forever and another success story for our ACFC Academy. Although the result wasn’t what was hoped for, suffering a 2-0 defeat, this story of hard work and motivation shows how we are progressing in the right way.

UK players crossing the pond:

Over in the UK on Friday, our players who had come through our football trials were given the chance to showcase their ability in front of coaches from The US at The London Capital Cup. Over 35 US coaches were in attendance to scout our players for potential Soccer Scholarships in The USA. This number of coaches shows the high demand for players with the right mentality and ability to take their chances to play abroad across the pond while also having the chance to further their education and be given the chance to travel. So far we already have a few players who have been offered this opportunity and a couple more that had interest shown in them after Fridays soccer trials.

Success for Soccer Smart members:

UK Soccer Smart consultant Chris Anderson has enjoyed on the pitch success with AFC Liverpool who have just won club of the month for the 2nd month in a row! A run of 10 league victories including a dominant 8-2 victory over Holker OB and an even more impressive 8-0 win against Steeton. A massive congratulations to Chris and also an example of the quality and expertise he brings to the team.
