Fullback- Very composed on the ball allowing the team to play out from the back as a team with fast passing build up play through centre and wings of the pitch. The ability to take on players down the wing driving forward with pace and agile dribbling working with the winger in front of him offering support from overlapping runs down the wing to delivery a cross into the box or inside pass to a midfielder. Defensively he is very strong in a tackle when it comes to a one on one situation with the opposing winger being pressured to go down the wing to then be able to make a tackle or to incept the cross into the box and recovering the ball for a counter attack.

Centre back- He is always looking to play out from the back trying to play it into the centre midfielders feet or out to the fullbacks to create the build up play to an attack on goal. Commanding from the back keeping the shape together as a back four or three to stop the chance of a ball being played through the gaps in the back line. Very strong in the tackles when trying to win the ball back in the air when defending corners against the opposition players as well as being strong in one on one situations knowing when to make the tackle to stop the attack of play. The ability to react quickly to the runs made by opposing players making sure they are being tracked and marked but also knowing when to drop the line as well as push the back line up to apply pressure onto the opposing team.
